Hi!

Ok, I'm sure this question has probably been beat to death, but I can't for the life of me find any documentation or discussion of it (seriously, I did look). I'm a complete PEAR newb, but was wondering if XHTML 1.0 strict or 1.1 strict compliance is planned for a future release of HTML_QuickForm and whether that's in development yet. I've got forms based on the current release to validate, but had to drop all my forms back to XHTML 1.0 transitional to get them to validate. Both 1.0 and 1.1 have deprecated the name attribute for forms. I also realize that this may cause BIG problems with the JS validation that QuickForm provides and understand that that's not the only factor; it's probably a major one. Anyway, I was just wondering if anybody had any info on this. Let the newb flaming being. ;)You can do $form->removeAttribute('name'); even now, although this will break JS validation. We are going to fix validation JavaScript to get rid of its dependency on form's name attribute, also to fix QF_Controller. Expect new releases of QF & QFC Really Soon Now. ;]
