Locate the pear.bat file (should be in your php root folder (C:\php by default, if my memory doesn't fail me))
Basically, should pear be properly installed, you should be able to run from command prompt in the php directory the command:
pear list
That should give you a list of all installed packages and their versions.
Also, if PEAR has properly installed itself, it should have modified your php.ini in order to add PEAR to the include_path
