What exactly do you mean? If there are no other things against it,
why don't you use the standard-folder-structure proposed by go-pear
for installation? But if you which to change them (and really know
why you are doing this), you can easily do so.
The path to where you installed the PEAR-packages will be included in
the php include-dir setting, so there is no need to change any
scripts - cause you will never include PEAR-files with an absolute
path.
Did you encounter a problem during installation?
