Problems with PEAR::SOAP and curl_exec

I'm (seemingly randomly) getting this error from the SOAP client: curl_exec error 28 Operation timed out with 0 out of -1 bytes received However, the call still goes through. The SOAP server gets the message and processes it correctly. I, of course, don't get the return from the call. I've tried upping the timeout but that hasn't helped. This error is returned basically immediately. I have just tried setting the timeout to 0 and this seems to have helped, but I can't be sure for a while (like I said, this is a random error).
