Hi all,
Well... I have been messing with the getAuthData and setAuthData methods now for a few days (off and on of course) and they just don't seem to be working. I have posted to this list and nobody responded, so I am guessing nobody uses these methods?
From the Pear docs it seems that I should have access to additional fields in my table by specifying them in the $optional array as "dbFields"=>"*" and getting them with $a->getAuthData('fieldname')
but after searching the web and list archives for a really long time and trying the sample code from the pear docs, I am just stumped. I have a project starting that has using Auth in the specification to handle user Authentication, but at this point I have not been having much luck with it.
Any thoughts? Help?
For reference, I am using the code found here: http://pear.php.net/manual/en/package.authentication.auth-http.auth-http.example2.php
Thanks much
Rogue
