QF frozen textarea

Hi! I would like to output a frozen textarea-box and I would like to get line breaks in these textboxes. How can I do that? \n produces linebreaks in html which does not mean anything and <br> produces <br> in the output? I think it would be a good idea to translate \n to <br> upon freezing a textarea. Is that worth a bugreport? Any idea to deal with this in another way - any workaround? Is using <pre> really the only way so far ... arrrrg regards Daniel
