PEAR DB DataObject Issue

Hi there, I'm getting a sever error when using PEAR, DBO with php4.3.5, Apach2.X and msssql (database on a windoze werver, apache on RH9.) Everynow and then the httpd deamons die with the following error:- /downloads/php4.3/php4.3.5/php-4.3.5/Zend/zend_variables.c(44) : Actual location (location was relayed) Beginning: OK (allocated on /downloads/php4.3/php4.3.5/php-4.3.5/ext/mssql/php_mssql.c:847, 19 bytes) End: Overflown (magic=0x2A8FCC00 instead of 0x2A8FCC84) 1 byte(s) overflown --------------------------------------- [Thu May 6 00:33:18 2004] Script: '/www/sites/slsa/SLSA_Members/scripts/translateCPL.php' --------------------------------------- /downloads/php4.3/php4.3.5/php-4.3.5/ext/mssql/php_mssql.c(191) : Block 0x0AE8A340 status: /downloads/php4.3/php4.3.5/php-4.3.5/Zend/zend_variables.c(44) : Actual location (location was relayed) Beginning: OK (allocated on /downloads/php4.3/php4.3.5/php-4.3.5/ext/mssql/php_mssq[barry@hpfm01 logs]$ -- I have looked at the source code of php_mssql.c and it is trying to handle dates at this stage. The database I am using make extensive use of timestamps - do these cause any known problems? The issu above happens intermittently, though I'm trying to detmerine if there are any circumstances stances that bring it on. any help would be appreciated.
