Hi, for the last year I have been using the Smarty Template for my projects. Today I installed PEAR and noticed that it is not in there, even though Smarty is a very well done class. It doesnt follow pear standards, and AFAIK the authors dont want to convert it.
I would like to use a template from the PEAR lib from now on so all classes that I am not responsible for are all neatly in one place.
Can anybody recommed a template from the PEAR library ? flexy and xipe both follow the smarty theory of compiling to PHP, (
as the author of flexy - you may not get a totally unbiased opinion.., there is a smarty template convertor in flexy, it doesnt do everything, as one of flexy goals is to guarentee that a wysiwig editor can edit the template, and smarty templates often dont even load. There is also a smaller set of language constructs (partly deliberate) . - but both xipe and flexy allow you to use <?php ?> tags (optionally) to add richer logic if you want to. Regards Alan
Thank you very much.
