Bryn, this is still being developed, Im sorry I just have been running out of time lately! The formatter method allows you to pass a function call as a string. It will automatically add the row as an associative array; this is in my example: http://www.webitecture.org/HTMLDataGrid/docs/examples/example.phps You will see the printLink function called Right now Im undecided how to take this method further. At the moment I will either extend the functionality per my original plan to allow passing of other variables. Or, I will create a whole new column object that extends the current object. Im trying to make the "formatter" as intuitive as possible, so if you have any suggestions, please let me know. Andrew
