Hmm, I bet Toby might have an idea about this - or at least have an
idea how he wanted to implement it if it's not yet possible. Only
suggestion I can give you for now:
Allocate your image before, fill the background with whatever you
like and draw the text upon that background. In the function init
there is a check some Image_Text is able to take an existing image
resource. Simply put that existing resource in
$this->options['canvas'].
Hope that helps you out. But anyway - if not yet possible maybe we
should really consider a setting for a background-color :-))
