Hi, I don't understand why there are two branches named pear in the CVS tree: /pear & /php4/pear Does anybody could explain? I've also seen many packages (like the excel one) i'd like to use in the /pear CVS. However, those packages are not listed thru package-info.php. Is there some kind of "official" and "unofficial" packages? Was is the risk to use a pear class not listed thru package-info.php in prduction environnement? Last, but not least, the PHPDOC from phpdoc.de seems to have big problems during parsing phase because cr or cr/lf. Does this have been improve recently? Bug report for Pear package manager: I've seen a bug in the pear package manager. I've installed it with the piped shell. At install time, i've given an other directory than /usr/local/lib/php. This directory was not saved by pear installer. The first time i've used pear command, it complains about missing packages. I've set up the pear package location variable, saved it and everithing came back to normal.
