I am wondering if others have experienced substantial performance hits with PEAR_Errors being returned that have huge back traces. Recently (developing under PHP5 RC 3), I've had scripts time out on me when a single PEAR_Error is being returned that has a very large back trace.
As a suggestion, it would be nice to override back trace generation.
