Hi! I am one of those who does not like to pass around references of my database connection all the time. It seems this has been dicussed previously: - http://pear.php.net/bugs/bug.php?id=669&edit=1 - http://aspn.activestate.com/ASPN/Mail/Message/pear-dev/2077309 Does anyone know of a relatively clean approach to avoid passing around the singleton until such a method is available or _did i miss something_ in DB's APIdoc? I am thinking about storing a reference into a _SESSION-variable, but I am a little unsure if you would consider this as clean/clever approach? Constructive comments are warmly welcome! Yours, //Matthias
