I got a QFC project with around 40+ Forms and - on my all in one PIII- 1000 I can hardly use it any more because it is really slow ... (on some of the screens there are 4 or 5 forms loaded one after the other which takes really long time ...) Are there some common tweaking ideas to get it faster? In addition to the bytecode cache (which is always a good idea if you're able to install one - usually that's not the case when you are on a shared host, though) you can use PEAR::Cache_Lite just for caching the QuickForm objects, but *before* you put any data in them. Constructing a complex QuickForm object is an expensive operation which doesn't need to be done at every request, as only the data changes but not the form definition itself. This is certainly a feasible approach for "normal" QuickForm use, but I don't know a lot about QuickForm Controller yet, so I don't know if it's doable there as well. CU Markus
