I've inherited a database which uses a reserved word as a column name. In
order to interact with this column, I need to have the table name(s) quoted.
The offending SQL, as generated by DB_DataObjects is:
UPDATE custprod SET custid = 'xyzzy' , prodid = 'yyy' , hostname =
'foo.bar.net' , created = '2003-09-15' , terminated = '2004-05-05x'
WHERE
custprod.custprodid = 'plugh'
The problem is the word "terminated". It would work if it were quoted with
back-ticks, such that the query looked like so:
UPDATE custprod SET custid = 'xyzzy' , prodid = 'yyy' , hostname =
'foo.bar.net' , created = '2003-09-15' ,
terminated =
'2004-05-05x' WHERE
custprod.custprodid = 'plugh'
Is there any way to set this up in DB_DataObjects or am I stuck renaming the
table.
Thanks,
