Hi Folks:
So I have this table that looks like this:
CREATE TABLE
customer (
custid char(10) NOT NULL default '',
name char(50) NOT NULL default '',
primary_contactid char(10) NOT NULL default '',
technical_contactid char(10) NOT NULL default '',
PRIMARY KEY (custid),
UNIQUE KEY name (name)
) TYPE=MyISAM COMMENT='Primary customer information';
It was automatically defined in DataObject like so:
[customer]
custid = 130
name = 130
primary_contactid = 130
technical_contactid = 130
[customer__keys]
custid = K
name = K
When I try to update the customer.name column, DataObject generates sql that
pointedly does not. In fact, it tries to update a nonexistant record that
has the new name. So it is confused about updating a key field.
Is it even possible in DataObjects to update a Unique Key field?
Thanks,
