problem Net_Server and debian

Hi!
Sorry, my english is not the best (greetings from germany).
I would like to change from SuSE to Debian and tested my applications on
the new machine.
Everything is fine, but I got problems with Net_Server sequentail.
When I try to connect the server (port 33000) from the same machine
(localhost) everything works fine. But when I try to connect the server
from my LAN or Internet I can't connect. :-(
When I make a portscan the port is open...
Does anyone recognized this problem with debian and Net_Server? What can
I do to find a solution?
