PEAR DB Transactions

I looked over the PEAR DB End User Documentation and it appears that
transaction information has not yet been added.
I then looked at the API documentation for DB 1.6.5 and it a little vague.
Let me see if I get this right. To use transactions I just substitute
query() with commit() while I'm adding, updating and deleting from the
database. Then I can simple call rollback at any time to undo changes?
