I mentioned this the other day but have seen no repsonses.
I've got several pages that utilize HTML_QuickForm. On some (and only
some) of the pages, the error message I've specified in a "required"
type rule is being displayed on the form, even if the page is being
viewed for the first time (e.g. has not been submitted to the server
yet).
Having dug down into HTML/QuickForm/Renderer/Default.php, it appears
that $error is getting passed into renderElement(), which is causing
_prepareTemplate() to render the error message into the form,
regardless of whether the form has been submitted.
I feel like I've hit a brick wall. Please help.
