hey,
print_($options) returned
Array
(
[database] => mysql://commSite:udEID948@localhost/communicate [schema_location] => /Users/communicatehealth/DB_DataObject [class_location] => /Users/communicatehealth/DB_DataObject [require_prefix] => DataObject/ [class_prefix] => DataObject_ [debug] => 0) I think, it's important to note, that that setup works just fine on another part of the site. My folder structure /Users/communicatehealth/DB_DataObject/db_dataobject.ini /Users/communicatehealth/DB_DataObject/Protocols_users.php (created by the createTables.php) /Users/communicatehealth/setup.php (smarty & pear setup file, this one is parsing the ini file and then being included in every file) /Users/communicatehealth/Sites/ (html folder) /Users/communicatehealth/Sites/protocols/register/index.php (offending file, which include_once the setup.php) any clues what's wrong? The ini file isn't being read and put into the global config arrays. That's why you're getting the notices. This should work in functions. Where exactly are you parsing the ini file? Are you sure the path is right? Try a print_r on the config array after the ini file is parsed. Also, make absolutely sure that that code is being run. If it is in a function, try putting it at the beginning of the script, outside of a function call.
