Hello,
my problem is very ... i don't know a word. :-(
System: Suse9.1
apache2-prefork-2.0.49-23
apache2-mod_php4-4.3.4-26
apache2-2.0.49-23
mysql 4.0.18
Fresh Pear-Istallation with lynx -source http://go-pear.org/ | php
And now I wanted to rebuld the easy Auth example from the pear-documentation and nothing happens ... empty browser.
After searching in the auth.php I found the section with the /**
* Start new auth session
*
* @access public
* @return void
*/
function start()
{
$this->assignData();
@session_start();
if (!$this->checkAuth()) {
$this->login();
}
}
I deleted the @ from @session_start(); and now I get this error :
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: session_start() in /usr/share/php/Auth.php on line 267
Can anyone explain me this ??? session_start() is a normal command in PHP4 and now it could not be found ??
Is this a special Problem with apache2 ???
It is not the first time I use the auth.php. In older projects I used this class with apache 1 and mysql 3 without any problems. Only on the new server are these messages.
Any ideas ? Thanks in advance.
Regards
