Using only PEAR::DB without any other PEAR class

I will start a new project and want it to use PEAR::DB on it. But the web
host we use don´t support PEAR. I was thinking if I can use only PEAR::DB in
my project.
There is a way do use only PEAR::DB or I have to install all PEAR packages
to put it to work? Can I download the class, "require" it in my code and use
it normaly?
