PEAR DB Issue

I'm not sure if this is a PEAR DB issue or PHP. I have recently upgraded to PHP5 and had a script that piped mail into a DB, however after the upgrade I get the following error back via email: PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function preg_match() in /usr/local/lib/php/DB.php on line 604 However I can use the same DB.php perfectly well in the web frontend to the system and I have Regex installed ok and preg_match works fine. Does anyone have any hints as to why I have this issue? Thanks Jake
