Well, if you have a function set up with pass-by-ref in the
declaration, it won't work unless you do call-time-pass-by-ref, which
you're not supposed to do. You shouldn't have to anyway since the
declaration has it. If I even think about turning on overloading with
DB_DO my refs stop working and my whole app falls apart.
As for crashing, I submitted some bugs and e-mails a while ago about
it. I just turn it off now to make sure it works. We just updated from
4.3.6 to 4.3.9, so maybe I should check and see if it was fixed....
Nope. Checked on a 4.3.9 box and the ref problem still exists. This
