There are TLD that are greater than 3 characters IE.
.name
.info
.museum
.coop
.aero
and there could be more.. just checked out:

This slips by the email validation rule
name@domain.ccom
Apparently, the validation rule does not check to make sure the suffix
is not more than 3 characters. I'm not certain, but .com, .net, .biz
and all the rest are a maximum of 3 characters, correct?
