I am running PHP 4.3.9 on FreeBSD 5.2 and I'm having trouble in stalling the HTML_Templete_sigma packages.
I run pear install HTML_Template_Sigma and get the following:
'ctype' PHP extension is not installed
HTML_Template_Sigma: Dependencies failed
yet, PHP thinks that the ctype extension is installed:
ctype
ctype functions => enabled
The problem seems to be related to the pear script being run with php -n, which stops the .ini from being loaded, which in turn keeps the modules from being loaded. I have tried everything I can think of you get the ctype module loaded. If I take out the -n, then I get a whole slew of errors when I run pear.
Other PEAR packages install OK, it's just this one giving me trouble.
Thanks, Ron
