If the client sends the appropriate HTTP headers, i.e.
a range header, HTTP_Download automatically serves
the requested range(s).
It should be poosible to test your script simply with telnet:
$ telnet localhost 80
...
GET /path/to/script.php HTTP/1.1
Connection: close
Host: localhost
Range: bytes=10-15
