I am setting up a development environment. I installed php version 4.3.8 using windows installer. It's installed at c:\php\. The ini file has: include_path = ".;c:\php\includes", and I created a directory called "includes" there to match the ini file. I then went to go-pear.com and saved it as "go-pear.php". I then started a command prompt and wen to the directory where go-pear.php was and ran from the command prompt, php go-pear.php. The screen scrolled lines and lines of code then stopped with the code below as errors. Any ideas of what I need to do? Many thanks for your help. **********************************************************************WARNING! I cannot write to $pathIni nor in $prefix/php.ini-gopear. Please modify manually your php.ini by adding: $includepath "; return false; } else { fwrite($fh, $newIni, strlen($newIni)); fclose($fh); echo " **********************************************************************WARNING! I cannot write to $pathIni, but I succesfully created a php.ini under &lt;$prefix/php.ini-gopear&gt;. Please replace the file &lt;$pathIni&gt; with &lt;$prefixIni&gt; or modify your php.ini by adding: $includepath "; } } else { fwrite($fh, $newIni, strlen($newIni)); fclose($fh); echo " php.ini &lt;$pathIni&gt; include_path updated. "; } return true; } ?&gt;</PRE></BODY></HTML> __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Check out the new Yahoo! Front Page. www.yahoo.com
