Hello,
I have the following problem with PEAR_Info: it doesn't display latest
available version of a package.
I use proxy server to connect to the Internet so I specified it by PEAR
http_proxy configuration setting:
CONFIGURATION:
==============
...
Preferred Package State preferred_state devel
Unix file mask umask 0
Debug Log Level verbose 1
HTTP Proxy Server Address http_proxy http://usr:pass@proxy:8080
PEAR server master_server pear.php.net
PEAR password (for password <not set>
...
PEAR commands like 'pear list-upgrades' work fine and show latest versions
but if I need this for PEAR_Info page I have to specify proxy manually by
calling PEAR_Info::setProxy().
Is this behavior correct? I really expected PEAR_Info to 'read' and use
http_proxy setting.
Best regards, Denis Gerasimov
