i cannot usernames are printed on flyers... (or can i call it vcards?) the registration process was not in my hands, but now i have to get along with those circumstances... ok,1st you get this "flyer" where you have the username. So your app assign a ref/ID number to it. It="flyer" so your unique is the flyer. Is the password coming there along ? After a while (or do you have some machine with negative GigaHertz ?) this user like to connect to some apps you have so you like to use this Auth package to identify her/him. Basically identification is done comparing user's stored password (or some hash of it) to "trying to get in" users's gave in password (or the same hash of it) in regard to the "username" So what you want ? A bloody example: we have two users same name "alex" where from are you sure their pass are differents ? Do you want the system to try all the "alex" users just in case the pass could match ? Are you killing ? Dur alex, sed lex. Und ich bin kein Nummer, oder sag welchen. à+ -- bertrand Gugger (toggg)
