Quickform group rules & Flexy

Hello, I've noticed that when you assign individual elements their own rules using addGroupRule, the error messages won't display with the Flexy renderer. For instance if you set one element to required, the * will appear marking the field as required, and the form validation fails (the form isn't processed), but the error message never appears. It even happens with the FlexyDynamic_example.php example that comes with QuickForm. There is a group containing fields for first name and last name, and last name is marked as required. If you submit the form with that field blank, the error message never displays. If you change the code to use the default renderer it works okay though. Is this a bug or am I missing something?
