Hi folks, I'm just getting started with DB_DataObject and I've run into a few problems. The first was that the DB connection would fail when I ran ./createTables.php because the password for my user in the DSN in the ini file was somewhat abnormal: [DB_DataObject] database = mysql://honky:honky, please!@localhost/test_do ... So, changing the user's password to be plain old honkyplease fixed that problem. I'm assuming that the characters I was using (perhaps space, comma, and bang) are illegal in an ini file? I can probably get around this by using one of the other methods for setting these properties. But in any event, the next problem has me really stumped: --------------------------------------------- ./createTables.php /usr/local/apache/htdocs/cvs/test_do/includes/TestDataObjects.ini db_dataobject_generator : 0 : CREATING FOR test_do db_dataobject_generator : ERROR : DB Error: insufficient permissions Fatal error: Call to undefined function: getlistof() in /usr/local/lib/php/DB/DataObject/Generator.php on line 161 --------------------------------------------- I've made certain that honky@localhost is granted all permissions on the database test_do, so I'm not sure why I'm getting this permission denied message. Am I overlooking something? Thanks very much, Billy
