It seems very strange to me.
From my Win2k host download fails -- I think, it's my Apache configuration
problems.
From my Linux host downloaded & opened and downloaded&saved&opened by Excel
2000 successfully.
Maybe, your Mac is misconfigured, or Excel 2003 does not understands these
files because of their old format.
Don't know, maybe it is because of magic_quotes_runtime set to 'On'?
The script itself works fine.
Now I will download it from my Linux host to my Linux workstation.
And tell you, how it works there.
Try to download your worksheet from my Linux host
(http://all4ships.metalurgs.lv/testexcel), and tell me whether it works OK.
Good luck!
