Any examples of FB used with QuickFormController?

I'm in a situation where I might have to use FB with QuickFormController.
Are there any examples of these two packages working together?
If FB subclassed QF then I guess it'd be simple, but my understanding is the FB subclasses
DBDO.
My naive assumption is that everywhere that QF Controller wants a QF, I instead replace it with an
FB->getForm(). But because that's easy, I suspect that it won't work ;-).
A simple example or two should be more than enough to get me started with it.
