The new PEAR package Net_Monitor-0.0.7 (beta) has been released at http://pear.php.net/.
Release notes
-------------
Implements changes proposed by Justin Patrin in his conditional vote
(http://pear.php.net/pepr/pepr-vote-show.php?id=171&handle=justinpatrin). Also fixes bug #3102
and implements a test for HTTPS. Monitor now uses references instead of variable copying for
manipulation of alerter and client objects, thereby reducing memory overhead (thanks to Ian Eure for
this suggestion). Finally, all tests are now in phpt format.
Package Info
-------------
A unified interface for checking the availability services on external servers and sending
meaningful alerts through a variety of media if a service becomes unavailable.
