I do what you put below all the time without incident. What driver are you using (I use the php mail driver by default).

The example in the docs for specifying the From header is: $headers['From'] = 'richard@example.com'; I would like to do something like $headers['From'] = 'Richard Example <richard@example.com>'; so that the when the recipient gets the email, their email client says the email is from "Richard Example" rather than "richard@example.com". When I try my example I get, "Validation failed for "Richard Example <richard@example.com>". Is there a way to accomplish this or does the value for the array have to be an email address and only an email address? - Erik Heerlein -- PEAR General Mailing List (http://pear.php.net/) To unsubscribe, visit: http://www.php.net/unsub.php
