Automake and aclocal are in the same path, which appears defined as it
should be, i.e. /usr/local/bin.
'Which' returns the same path for both.
Not sure what is going on. Any other ideas? I need to get fileinfo
installed. Even manual installation fails as a result of this.
Thanks,

If you already have automake installed is aclocal in your path?
Try :
which aclocal
