I'm behind on a project and need to switch gears and start using a simple template system. I am using quickforms and some formbuilder (but can switch those to quickforms is needed). Any recommedndations? You will hear a lot about Smarty (not in PEAR) and HTML_Template_Flexy (in PEAR), both of which are fine. However, the easiest to learn and most forward-compatible is Savant (not in PEAR, and I'm the author, so I'm biased). It uses PHP as the template markup, so there's nothing new to learn there; you only need to learn how to assign variables and call templates. It is compatible with QuickForm natively (just assign the QuickForm object to the template) and with the QuickForm "array" renderer. Please see the Savant website for more information about this system. http://phpsavant.com/ -- pmj
