And as I said, the PEAR installer knows how to do this through XML-RPC. Try looking at the PEAR code and finding out how it does it. It should be theoretically possible to just use the PEAR class that does this in your own script. http://cvs.php.net/pear-core/PEAR/
Please uderstand me .. I'm not PHP code writed (so I'm not interested in "use class <foo> for write own script"). Is it realy not posible without sitting on head ? ;> Is it realy not possible (simple) make one directory browsable and use the same technic as for *ANY* non-PEAR/PECL project ? :> Why PEAR/PECL must be DIFFRENT in this area ? Probably on server side all tar balls are stored in per PEAR/PECL project separated directory ? is it realy so hard make this directories browsable ? Why KISS rule can't be used also in this are ? :> kloczek -- ----------------------------------------------------------- *Ludzie nie mają problemów, tylko sobie sami je stwarzają* ----------------------------------------------------------- Tomasz Kłoczko, sys adm @zie.pg.gda.pl|*e-mail: kloczek@rudy.mif.pg.gda.pl*
