The setup steps for properly setting up your complex types is not as
straight forward as it should be, so I can see why you are having
troubles.
For an array, you would do:
$this->__typedef["{$namespace}TypeName"] =
array(
array('item' => "{$namespace}ArrayElement")
);
In theory, you should be able to set session information in a Cookie and
pass it in the HTTP headers. There are a few other options:
- Run a stateless service and authenticate every request with HTTP Basic
or Digest Authentication (note you can only implement digest on the PEAR
SOAP Server side, the client doesn't support it).
- Use session information as normal in the HTTP layer (i.e. cookie),
again easier on the server side... would have to investigate if you
could set the cookie information using CURL.
- Use a SOAP header for passing a session ID around. The bonus this has
is that you are transport independent and don't rely on HTTP for the
sessions.
