there's surely a problem with your template, not with Pager. I never used {section}s, so I can only suggest a working example with {foreach}: -- start of Smarty template -- {$links} <br /> <table border=1> <tr>

    <td>Number</td>

</tr> {if !empty($list)}

    {foreach item=listitem from=$list}
    <tr>
      <td>{$listitem.number}</td>
    </tr>
