Handling custom pear errors

I think i have asked this before, but how can i setup a special errors class to handle the triggered pear errors, hopefully error strack and pear_error, and then it delegates other special error handlers depending what you want it to do, either return to the previous page with displaying the error usually for Auth and Uploader or die to the screen usually the DB. Let me know.
