Validate package with DBDO

Hi,
I have some questions related to the Validate package, because I'm using
DBDO in production environments.
Do you know why there aren't more releases? And why it is in alpha
state?
Is a problem that DBDO depends on an alpha package?
Are the maintainers working on this package?
I have use it for a long with DBDO, but I need some arguments to explain
why in a production environment I'm putting an alpha package.
