Hi Alan and any other angels who built flexy, I'm working on a rather large e-commerce / CMS with high traffic. I'm really happy with the compilation / caching performance with flexy, but would like to improve it by saving query time and only getting new data for certain sections every day or so. Any ideas for this? Basically, I have a template like this: -------------------------- | | | | | | | | | | a | b | | | | | | | | | | ------------------------- Where region 'a' has dynamic content (like a shopping cart, lists of content that change with every page load, etc...). region 'b' has "semi-dynamic" content (content that can be updated every day or every week). I'd like to come up with some method in flexy where flexy actually compiles the region 'b' by putting the generated HTML as opposed to the variables into the cached version, obviously in different files for different URLs passed. I'm guessing something like a custom tag <flexy:cache refresh_time=3600></flexy:cache>. Anything inside this tag would actually be parsed and the HTML saved somewhere and indexed using the url and the template file name. (so domain.com/products?product=product1 would be saved to compiled/products/product-product1.php). I know this sounds terribly convoluted, I really haven't thought through how it is possible, that's why I'm asking you, since you probably have done something simular. I think this will really be a great feature as "push" CMS's are really much more practical. What would make it so cool is to allow it to happen for regions as opposed to entire pages... thanks Jacob
