I'm trying out the Pear Image_Text package and am having some problems.
I've installed the package and loaded the example file and am getting these errors (both in Linux and Windows).
Warning: imagecolorallocate(): supplied argument is not a valid Image resource in /var/www/html/ebay/docs/image_example.php on line 96
Warning: imagefilledellipse(): supplied argument is not a valid Image resource in /var/www/html/ebay/docs/image_example.php on line 98
Warning: imagepng(): supplied argument is not a valid Image resource in /var/www/html/pear/Image/Text.php on line 1027
I don't know a lot about the GD part of PHP. Any ideas what might be wrong with my setup? This is what I get with phpinfo():

GD Support enabled
GD Version bundled (2.0.15 compatible)
FreeType Support enabled
FreeType Linkage with freetype
GIF Read Support enabled
JPG Support enabled
PNG Support enabled
WBMP Support enabled
XBM Support enabled
Any help would be appreciated.
