MDB2 seems the goer, I had a look at MDB along time ago, it wasnt really mature and code not portable from DB. However there is also a DB wrapper extensio out in the wild which may not be ready for a while yet. My only pain with this choice is that I have had to modify DB_DataObject a little a few slight differences there, and there has been no interest to officially port this, so I am stuck with my own patches :)

It seems like there is a lot of overlap between the DB and MDB libraries, is there a recomended one to use. Is there a transition taking place or is one an extension of the other. Is one more active then the other. Mostly just curious. Sam D -- PEAR General Mailing List (http://pear.php.net/) To unsubscribe, visit: http://www.php.net/unsub.php
