Right I've got the following tables within a MySQL 4.0..
hardware_catagory <---Contains hw categories
hardware_manufacturer <---Contains hw manufactuers
hardware_models <---Contains specific models of hw
hardware_index <---Contains references to each of the 3 above to
create a single instance of a piece of hardware
For example:-
hardware_catatgory
==================
hw_cat_id = 1
hw_cat_name = printer
hardware_manufacturer
=====================
hw_manu_id = 1
hw_manu_name = 'HP'
hardware_models
===============
hw_model_id = 1
hw_model_name = '640C'
hardware_index
==============
hadware_index_id = 1
hw_cat_name = 1
hw_manu_name = 1
hw_model_id = 1
Thus hardware index contains "1,printer,640C,HP" (once queried
correctly).
The form builder works perfectly with all tables bar the hardware_index
table. What I was hoping to be able to do is map the values in the
hardware_index to the corresponding values and have the FormBuilder print a
selection box with each of these. Is that in any way possible? If it isn't,
are there any foreseeable problems with using a mix of quick forms generated
by the FormBuilder and by myself manually?
Thanks for your help!
