I hacked together a class that extended the Default renderer. Things my class does differently
* Labels for elements (though for groups you have to locally set the
elementTemplate to fix labels for groups)* {requiredNoteLocation} replacement block in the formTemplate. I
like to have my required note help text at the top of the form* {hidden} replacement block in the formTemplate. I can't remember
if this available in the Default renderer but I specifically like
to have my hidden elements at the end of the form. Yeah, I'm anal
about my code. :)
you can see it at the following url

Remember this is a hack. I make no claims that it's efficient / good / useful / etc. But it works for me on several of my projects.

Has anyone managed to generate WCAG AAA accessible forms with HTML_QuickForm_IT? I'm no accessiblity expert, but from reading the WCAG recommendations**, I gather this would involve: * Using proper label tags for the labels, and associating them with the form input using the for="(inputid)" attribute. * Using accesskey="(key)" attributes, and highlighting/underlining the appropriate letter on a label with a span. * Besides having a good label, also filling in the forms with default values such as "Please enter your name here". I had this working nicely by hand, but it would be much nicer to have this with QuickForm's speed and advanced features like uploading. Anyone figured this out already? If not, how would I go about hacking QuickForm and the dynamic IT Form renderer to handle this? ** Recommendations are at: http://www.w3.org/TR/WCAG10-HTML-TECHS/#forms -- Lee
