I notice alot of classes use the pear get static property method ?Hi there I am looking at the best way to cache configs exracted from xml using pear Config class. I would also like to pass around the config settings between different classes. Any ideas ? lemme know cheers. What are you trying to avoid by caching the configs? Are you trying to avoid the parsing? To pass the settings around between classes, I would suggest passing your config_container around (by reference, don't copy it). You could also use it as a global, if you wish.
