I'm trying to install DB_DataObject on my shared hosting. I get the following errors, though: downloading DB_DataObject-1.7.13.tgz ... ...done: 49,474 bytes Warning: mkdir(/usr/local/bin/DB) [http://www.php.net/function.mkdir]: Permission denied in System.php on line 237 Warning: mkdir(/usr/local/bin/DB/scripts) [http://www.php.net/function.mkdir]: No such file or directory in System.php on line 237 failed to mkdir /usr/local/bin/DB/scripts digun:/$ mkdir /usr/local/bin/DB mkdir: cannot create directory `/usr/local/bin/DB': Permission denied Am I missing something, or is this install trying to do something a little screwey? Why would I want a DB directory inside my local bin directory? And, is there some way around this for a hosting account that doesn't give such permissions? -- Lee
